What are the slot paylines?

A pay-line, in simple terms, is the line on which a winning combination may occur. A winning combination is a combination of at least three icons of the same type that go one after another on the pay-line. The number of pay-lines may differ from one slot to another. They aren’t only horizontal and can be in diverse shapes, from zigzag to trapezium. Most slots pay-lines will pay for winning combinations that go from left to right. However, there are certain slots that will pay a winning combination regardless of its direction. In this case, if you have a winning combination but you are not paid for it then the simple reason is generally that the symbols are not lined up along a pay line.

1) lined slots.
The total bet of a line slot consists of bets per each line. The line wins of such slots are a product of bet per line and the numbers from the paytable. The wins of lines are summarized to calculate the total win of lines.

2) non-lined slots (for example, all-ways).
The total bet of such slots does not consist of any parts and is indivisible. The wins of any combinations (hits, collapses, etc) in such slots can be directly multiplied by the numbers in the paytable, but the numbers in the paytable would have to look like that: (1.5, 1, 0.6 etc). To make the paytable look normal, we have introduced special multipliers in such slots (usually 50). We have multiplied all the numbers in the paytable by this multiplier >>(and they look like 75, 50, 30 etc), but to calculate the win we divide the total bet by the multiplier, and only then multiply it by the paytable numbers. So, effectively, the "50" multiplier does not affect the wins (since we divide and then multiply by that number) and is only introduced to make the paytable look normal so our users understand the payouts of different slots better.
